Cats should not eat cake. Cake is a common human food, usually sweet and visually appealing, but it's very high in fat. Even humans have difficulty fully digesting fat, and cats' digestive abilities are far inferior to humans'. Furthermore, some cakes contain a lot of cream, which can cause diarrhea in cats, mainly because cats are lactose intolerant to it.
What to do if your cat eats cake:
1. If your cat eats too much cake at once, you can let it fast for a day to prevent indigestion caused by overeating.
2. If the cat still has a poor appetite after two days, you can give the cat some probiotics to promote digestion.
3. If the kitten is already experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or lethargy, it is necessary to seek veterinary care immediately, as the cream may have caused harm to the kitten.
