Symptoms of stress in cats:
1. Stress reactions in cats can manifest as droopy ears, ruffled fur, rapid breathing, and panting with their mouths open.
2. Some cats may exhibit symptoms of stress such as hiding, refusing to eat or drink, lethargy, loose stools, diarrhea, and vomiting.
3. Cats may exhibit stress reactions and aggressive tendencies, which can be observed through their facial expressions and body postures.
4. Severe stress reactions may cause problems with the cat's urinary system, liver disease, and in the most serious cases, rapid heartbeat, convulsions, difficulty breathing, and rapid death.
Methods to alleviate stress in cats:
1. Provide a quiet environment. You can put the cat in a small, dark box to keep it quiet and not disturb it. Let it rest on its own.
2. You can bring the cat's old items to the new home to give the cat some familiarity and help it gradually adapt.
3. You can place some catnip or pheromones in the room to relieve your cat's anxiety.
4. If your cat experiences symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea, you can add an appropriate amount of probiotics to its food to regulate its gastrointestinal environment, which can help alleviate the cat's symptoms.
