1. Food allergies: Food is the most common allergen for cats. II. Treatment methods for cat allergies
If it's a food allergy, the cat owner should immediately stop feeding the cat that food. They should also avoid feeding the cat foods that are prone to causing allergies, such as seafood, milk, and corn.
If your cat is allergic to medication, it is recommended that you take it to the vet for treatment as soon as possible. At the vet, you should also tell the vet whether your cat is allergic to certain medications to prevent the vet from giving your cat these medications without knowing their condition.
If the cat has a skin allergy or an environmental allergy, the owner should first put an Elizabethan collar on the cat to prevent it from scratching further, and apply ointment to the scratched areas. Regular deworming is also essential, as is cleaning the house regularly and keeping the room tidy to prevent flea infestation.
