Why is the orange cat so thin?
If you notice your orange tabby cat is unusually thin, it could be due to the female cat being in heat and experiencing a loss of appetite. She will regain her weight after successful mating. It could also be due to malnutrition; in this case, you should feed her highly nutritious cat food. If it's caused by a parasite infection, you should deworm the female cat.
1. Loss of appetite
If you notice that your female orange tabby cat is particularly thin, it may be due to her heat cycle, which may cause her anxiety and loss of appetite. Once she has successfully mated, she will regain her weight by ensuring she gets adequate nutrition.
2. Malnutrition
Sometimes the food given to female orange tabby cats is not very nutritious, which is one of the reasons why they are so thin. It is recommended to feed them salmon, high-nutrition cat food, nutritional paste, etc., to help them gain weight.
3. Parasitic infection
If the mother orange cat's stomach is infected with parasites, it will also cause her to lose weight. Immediately help the mother orange cat deworm, and maintain a clean environment to prevent the mother orange cat from being infected by bacteria.
