The kitten's hind legs being turned outwards and not pushing off the ground may be due to rickets, a genetic disorder that commonly occurs in Scottish Fold cats and is very painful. It is recommended to take the kitten to a veterinary clinic for examination.



If these symptoms are not in a Scottish Fold kitten, it could be due to nerve compression or bone misalignment in the kittens while they were in the womb. It is recommended to seek veterinary attention promptly. Another possibility is insufficient calcium intake, leading to abnormal bone development. In this case, calcium supplementation should be given to the cat under the guidance of a veterinarian.
