Why does my cat keep vomiting?
1. Hairballs
Because cats have barbs on their tongues, they may swallow some hair when licking their fur. If the hair accumulates in their stomach for a long time, the cat will vomit, which is what we commonly call hairballs. This problem can be solved by brushing their fur frequently, relieving their stress, using hairball remedy or cat grass, and changing their cat food.
2. Accidental ingestion of foreign objects
If a cat accidentally ingests something foreign while outdoors, it may vomit. This is a protective mechanism for the cat, and you should prevent your cat from accidentally eating things from the roadside when you are out.
3. Gastrointestinal diseases
The last reason why cats vomit frequently is gastrointestinal disease. If they vomit a lot and the vomit contains yellow or white liquid, this may be caused by a physiological disease, and you need to take your cat to a veterinary hospital for examination and treatment.
