Cats can eat chicken breast. Chicken breast is rich in protein, vitamins, and other nutrients, which can supplement a cat's nutrition and strengthen its physique. It's also low in fat and easily digested and absorbed, helping to control a cat's fat intake. However, overfeeding should be avoided, as it can easily lead to indigestion. It's recommended to give cats chicken breast 2-3 times a week, with each serving being 50-70 grams.
Precautions for feeding chicken breast to cats:
1. Raw chicken breast may contain parasites, which can easily cause discomfort to cats. It should be cooked thoroughly before feeding it to your cat.
2. Do not add any seasonings during the cooking process of chicken breast, as this will affect the cat's health.
3. Cats with renal insufficiency and chronic kidney disease should not be fed chicken breast, as it will increase the burden on their kidneys.
