Internal deworming for cats:
1. Pay attention to your physical health.
Cats must be healthy before undergoing internal deworming, otherwise it can easily cause secondary harm to their bodies. For example, cats that are anemic, thin, malnourished, or sick should be dewormed only after their bodies have recovered. Cats that have just been vaccinated need to wait 5-7 days before undergoing internal deworming, and it is also not recommended to deworm pregnant cats.
2. Choose deworming medication carefully.
When choosing medication, owners must select pet-specific deworming drugs and never give cats human deworming medication. It's advisable to keep some professional pet deworming medication at home. It's recommended to administer the medication to your cat according to the dosage recommended on the instructions based on their weight; do not give arbitrarily to avoid overdosing.
3. Post-deworming care
Deworming medication is best given to cats on an empty stomach, with water provided during this time to maximize its effectiveness. It can be administered 4 hours after a meal, and the cat should be kept hungry for 5-6 hours afterward to allow the medication to work. After administering the medication, monitor the cat's condition closely. 
External parasite treatment for cats:
1. Drops
Flea and tick drops are single-use external parasite medications; only one drop is needed each time, making them quite convenient. However, there's a specific way to apply the drops; simply dropping them randomly won't be effective. When using flea and tick drops, remember to part the cat's fur, apply the drops directly to their skin, and place them in areas the cat can't lick, such as the shoulder blades or back.
2. Spray
Sprays can be applied anytime, anywhere, and are often used for emergency treatment or environmental pest control. When there's an urgent need for pest control, you can use the spray to immediately apply the medication to the affected area for immediate effect. It can also be sprayed on pet supplies or carpets at home for environmental pest control.
