The second and third doses of the feline triple vaccine are given 21 days apart. The feline triple vaccine is a vaccine for feline infectious diseases, primarily preventing feline panleukopenia (feline distemper), feline rhinobronchitis, and calicivirus disease. Kittens can be vaccinated for the first time at six to eight weeks of age, receiving a total of three injections, each 21 days apart. Adult cats only need one injection per year.
After a cat receives its vaccination, it needs to stay at the hospital for observation for half an hour. It can leave only if there are no adverse reactions. Do not bathe the cat for one week. It is generally recommended not to bathe a cat until it has completed its vaccination series to avoid stress. Unless there are special circumstances, avoid taking the cat outside.
