Bathing a cat is always a headache for owners, because most cats are afraid of water. Often, a bath makes the cat uncomfortable, and the owner also feels uncomfortable from being scratched. Actually, there's no need to force short-haired breeds to bathe. Simply wet a towel with warm water, wring it out, wrap it around the cat, and gently wipe it. Then wipe it with the towel to remove dirt.
1. Wet your hands with hot or cold water and stroke the hair from the buttocks to the head against the direction of hair growth two to three times. Then massage the head, back, ribs, and abdomen with the direction of hair growth to remove dirt and loose hair.
2. Quickly and carefully wipe away any moisture from your cat's body with a towel to prevent them from catching a cold. It's best to do this in a warm place at home or in a room with the heating on.
3. Gently brush the entire body with a clean grooming brush, paying extra attention to particularly dirty areas. Also, carefully brush the belly and heels, areas that cats usually dislike being touched.
4. Foam shampoo sold in pet stores does not need to be rinsed with water. Take a small amount, apply and rub it in your hands, then brush it on.
5. After carefully wiping the cat's body clean of dirt and moisture with a towel or paper towel, dry it with a hairdryer. If the cat dislikes the hairdryer, put it in a cage or box and let it blow warm air from a distance.
6. Once the bristles are dry, brush them from head to tail. Don't forget to brush the chest and abdomen thoroughly as well. After brushing, clean the brush thoroughly.
