First, prevent cats from being poisoned by flowers.
Make sure the plants in your home are non-toxic to your cat, and try to keep them away from these plants. Some types of plants are poisonous to cats, and if they ingest them while playing, it can easily cause poisoning, and in severe cases, even death.
Second, prevent cats from being poisoned by sewage.
When cleaning the house, mopping the floor, washing clothes, or washing dishes, avoid letting your cat drink dirty water containing disinfectants or cleaning agents. This is because some of these disinfectants or cleaning agents have very complex ingredients, and some components can corrode and burn the delicate esophagus and gastrointestinal lining of a cat, causing gastrointestinal discomfort and symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting.
Third, prevent insecticide poisoning in cats.
When using insecticides at home, keep them out of reach of cats. Many families use rat poison or bait to kill cockroaches and ants from time to time. When using these baits, place them where cats cannot reach them, because most of these things smell very nice and can easily attract cats to steal and eat them, thus causing poisoning.
