Siamese cats typically shed their puppy coat around 4-6 months of age, replacing the thin, sparse puppy coat with a thicker, more robust coat. Some kittens may not shed their puppy coat until 7-8 months of age. As adults, they shed twice a year, from March to May and from September to November, to better adapt to seasonal climate changes.
What should I do when my Siamese cat is shedding its fur?
1. Brush your Siamese cat 1-2 times a day. This will help your Siamese cat shed its fur properly and promote blood circulation.
2. Massage the Siamese cat's body and take it out to sunbathe more often in your free time; this will help with the growth of new fur.
3. Supplement your cat's diet with protein, vitamins, and minerals, and feed them a balanced diet by choosing nutritious foods.
