Cats should not smell tulips. Tulips are poisonous to cats. Although the scent of tulips does not directly harm cats, some cats may be allergic to pollen and experience symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, coughing, and even difficulty breathing and facial swelling.

More importantly, if a cat accidentally ingests tulips, it may experience loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody stools, drooling, or even nerve damage leading to convulsions, posing a serious threat to the cat's health.
