The litter box should ideally be placed in a well-ventilated and dry location. Many people are used to putting the litter box in the toilet, but the toilet is relatively damp and prone to breeding bacteria. It is best to place the litter box in a well-ventilated and sunny place such as a balcony or living room.
Litter box cleaning tips:
1. After the cat finishes defecating, clean out the feces in the litter box and restore the litter to a smooth surface to prevent the cat from urinating directly on the bottom of the box where there is no litter covering, which would make cleaning more difficult.
2. Larger litter boxes usually have a foot pedal to prevent cats from carrying litter out of the box with their paws stuck in it. So, lifting it up makes cleaning easier. 
3. A cat litter scoop is an essential tool for cleaning cat litter. It can quickly separate clumps of feces from clean, usable cat litter.
4. When urine comes into contact with cat litter, it quickly dissolves the litter and clumps together into a large litter clump. (Tip: Tofu cat litter + bentonite clay can deodorize and solidify quickly; try this formula if your cat litter often sticks to the bottom.)
5. Small, individual black or yellow pellets are cat feces. If you're using tofu cat litter, you can flush them directly down the toilet. If you're using bentonite clay litter, you should throw it in the trash and seal the trash bag tightly, as it will still have an odor.
6. To clean the litter box, scoop from one side to the other, collect the clean litter on one side, and then spread it out after cleaning.
