Deworming is divided into internal and external deworming. Kittens can generally be dewormed internally at one month old, and then monthly thereafter. After six months, kittens can be dewormed internally every three months. For external deworming, it's generally recommended to do it monthly. It's best to avoid bathing your cat for a week before and after external deworming to prevent affecting the effectiveness of the treatment.
Recommendations for deworming cats:
1. Deworming should only be done when the cat is healthy. If the cat is sick, it should be postponed.
2. The frequency of deworming for cats can be adjusted according to the cat's diet, living environment, and frequency of going out, but it is necessary to deworm the cat regularly to avoid parasite infection.
3. Do not use the same deworming medication for an extended period of time.
