Somali cat dietary restrictions:
1. Chicken bones, fish bones, and other types of bones: Feeding Somali cats bones may cause cuts to their mouths and stomachs, and in severe cases, may even lead to their death.
2. Onions: Onions can damage the red blood cells of Somali cats, causing anemia, which can lead to death in severe cases.
3. Sweets: Sweets can easily cause dental tartar in Somali cats.
What should Somali cats eat?
1. High-quality cat food. Cat food is arguably the most suitable food for cats in modern times. A high-quality cat food can meet a cat's daily nutritional needs, and it is ready to eat right out of the bag, saving time and effort. Cats also love to eat it.
2. Chicken breast. Chicken breast is very low in fat and rich in protein, so it's unlikely to cause obesity or high cholesterol. You can boil chicken breast in water and feed it to your cat. 2-3 times a week is enough; otherwise, it may cause your cat to become a picky eater.
3. Fish. It's well known that cats love fish, and fish is a good food for them because it's rich in protein, easily digestible, and contains abundant minerals. However, don't feed it to them too often, as this can make them tired of the food.
