Cats may be poisoned if they smell floral water. Because floral water contains an irritating odor, it will affect a cat's sense of smell, causing symptoms such as sneezing and watery eyes. Therefore, owners should not let their cats smell floral water. In addition, mosquito coils and other similar products should not be used when there are cats in the house.
Precautions for using floral water in households with cats:
1. While cats can smell floral water, this doesn't mean it's free of irritating ingredients. Small amounts may not be a problem for cats, but long-term accumulation can cause harm. Therefore, it's recommended that cats not inhale too much floral water when using it in their homes.
2. If cat owners are going to use a lot of mosquito repellent, it is recommended to isolate the cat first, and then ventilate the room after the mosquito repellent work is finished before letting the cat in.
3. Do not place the floral water where the cat can reach it, to prevent the cat from knocking it over and inhaling large amounts, which could have adverse effects.
4. If a cat accidentally ingests floral water and experiences a severe adverse reaction, take the cat to the vet for examination and treatment immediately. Do not take it lightly.
