Precautions for feeding cats cat food:
1. Cat food mixing. Do not mix cat food with regular meals. This will greatly reduce the cat's palatability, leading to the cat refusing to eat or developing picky eating habits. If you must mix cat food, it is recommended to use powdered nutritional supplements to mix with the cat food.
2. No heating required. Cat food is formulated with good nutritional value. Heating canned cat food will destroy the protein and other nutrients, which will not benefit the cat at all.
3. Pay attention to the salt content of cat food. We need to strictly control the cat's intake of trace elements. A moderate amount of salt can help cats replenish water and trace elements, but too much salt can lead to various adverse factors such as hair loss and illness.
4. Cat food temperature. The temperature of the cat food must be carefully controlled. Too high a temperature can burn the cat, while too low a temperature can significantly impact its digestive system. It is recommended to use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the cat's food regularly to ensure healthy growth.
5. Feed at set times. We need to give cats specific feeding times. Kittens should be fed 3-4 times a day, and adult cats can be fed 2 times a day. Do not feed them too much; 80% full is best.
