Ragdoll cats typically shed during seasonal changes, with the peak shedding season being from March to May in spring and from September to November in autumn. The amount of shedding is related to the cat's constitution; Ragdolls that shed regularly will shed more during seasonal changes. During these shedding periods, it's necessary to supplement the cat's diet with nutrients such as vitamins and calcium.
Precautions for Ragdoll cats during shedding season:
1. Increase nutrition. Feeding your cat foods containing vitamin B can improve its fur and skin. Also, provide more fish and meat to supplement its protein intake.
2. Regularly brush your cat's fur. This helps remove loose fur, which tends to fall out everywhere.
3. Feeding your Ragdoll cat cat grass or hairball remedy can help it expel the hair it has licked out of its body.
