Why cats need to sunbathe in the summer:
1. Cats sunbathe in the summer mainly because appropriate sun exposure can help them supplement calcium.
2. Ultraviolet rays in sunlight can kill bacteria and increase skin resistance.
3. Sunbathing in the summer can also remove moisture from the surface of a cat's body.
Precautions for cats sunbathing in summer:
1. Cats should not sunbathe for too long. If they are exposed to the sun for an extended period of time, the infrared rays in sunlight can easily cause problems with the cat's thermoregulation.
2. Cats are prone to heatstroke when exposed to the sun in summer, and severe heatstroke can be fatal.
3. Do not shave your cat's fur completely when it's sunbathing in the summer. Shaving it completely can damage the cat's skin and cause skin diseases.
