Cats don't need to be bathed frequently, but grooming is their favorite activity. However, cats cannot clean their ears on their own, so attentive owners need to help them clean their ears.
I. Required tools:
Baby oil, a small bowl, cotton cloth or cotton swabs.
II. Preparatory work:
Cleaning cat ears requires baby oil, a small bowl, and a few pieces of cotton cloth or cotton swabs.
III. Examine the ears:
When examining a cat's ears, never stuff anything (including pieces of cloth) inside, as cat ears are very soft.
After checking for black dirt on the cat's ears, use a cotton cloth dipped in baby oil to wipe away all the dirt inside the ear canal.
Handle with care when cleaning. Rubbing too hard can make your cat uncomfortable or even injured. Use gentle, circular motions to clean.
If you find inflammation in your cat's ear canal, you can put a few drops of cat-specific anti-inflammatory ear drops or ear ointment in it.
