1. Ensure a safe environment. Cats bury their feces primarily to mask their scent and prevent their whereabouts from being revealed. If a cat is familiar with its environment and feels it is safe, it may stop burying its feces.
2. Unclean cat litter. If the owner does not clean and change the cat litter for a long time, resulting in poor quality or strong odor, the cat will also be unwilling to have much contact with the litter and will therefore refuse to bury its feces.
3. If there is too little cat litter or the litter box is too small, it will be inconvenient for the cat to bury its feces, resulting in the cat not burying its feces.
