What to do if your cat hides in a corner and won't come out?
Cats are naturally sensitive and more timid than other animals. If a cat is hiding in a corner and won't come out, it's likely because it's unable to adapt to the new environment and is feeling anxious. However, cats are quite curious, so you can first look around the corner to see what's attracting the cat, and then try to lure it out, such as by shaking a cat toy.
Cats can be mischievous sometimes, hiding in a corner and refusing to come out, possibly intending to play a trick on their owners. When they see their owners panicking and anxiously searching for them, they might even feel proud and smug. In this case, the owner simply needs to gently pull the cat out of the corner.
Cats, by their very nature proud, find it difficult to tolerate human teasing. Therefore, when scolded, beaten, or tricked by their owners, they will hide in a corner to vent their dissatisfaction. Don't panic; wait a while and then lure them out with food.
