Can cats eat meat bones?
Cats can eat bones in moderation, but if you're feeding them raw meat and bones, you should also include about 5% animal liver in their diet. Cooked cartilage, on the other hand, can easily get stuck in a cat's throat. Furthermore, raw meat may contain a large number of parasites and should be frozen at -20°C or below for 72 hours before feeding it to cats.
Cats can eat bones and even need to supplement their animal protein intake by eating a moderate amount of raw meat and bones. However, cooked bones are likely to contain a lot of bone fragments, which may get stuck in a cat's throat and are difficult for the cat to digest and absorb.
