Can kittens drink baby formula?
It is not recommended to feed kittens human infant formula. Firstly, human infant formula contains high levels of fat, sugar, and food additives. These components are often intolerable to kittens. The high sugar content can easily cause diarrhea in kittens, and the high fat and low protein content result in an unbalanced diet that is detrimental to their growth and development.
In addition, kittens' gastrointestinal tracts are not fully developed, so they are easily susceptible to indigestion or even gastrointestinal toxicity from human infant formula with added additives.
