How to verify that a tabby cat has recognized its owner?
1. Staring at you intently
If it's constantly busy with its own things and doesn't even glance at you, it means it doesn't consider you its owner. Conversely, if it keeps staring at you, it means it considers you its owner. Cats only pay close attention to the people they care about; they're curious about your behavior and want to know what you're doing, which is why they keep staring at you.
2. Will respond to you
Actually, to know if a cat considers you its owner, you only need to see if it responds to you. If you call it and its ears twitch a couple of times but it doesn't respond, it means it doesn't consider you its owner. Conversely, if you call it and it comes to you immediately, responding no matter how many times you call it, it means it considers you its owner.
3. It will allow you to.
Cats are very sensitive animals. They won't let strangers approach them; they'll only let their most familiar person, their owner, approach them. In other words, if a cat lets you approach it, it means it considers you its closest person, its owner.
4. They will give you a massage.
Most cats develop a habit from kittenhood of massaging their elders. We can see many kittens massaging their parents, running up to them and gently pressing their bodies with their paws. Even after they leave their parents, they retain this habit; however, from then on, they will only "serve" their owners.
5. Will wait for you at the toilet door.
If a cat considers you its owner, it will care about you deeply and be very concerned about your safety. If you go to a dangerous place, it will definitely follow you. In a cat's mind, a toilet full of water is very dangerous, so it will wait for its owner at the toilet door.
