How to keep mosquitoes away at home if you have pets
1. Install screen doors and windows. Windows and doors are the inevitable passageways for mosquitoes to enter the house from the outside. With screen doors and windows, you can directly block them from entering.
2. Install mosquito nets in the room. This way, when you go to sleep, you can drive the mosquitoes out of the net and then close it tightly so you won't be bitten by mosquitoes while you sleep.
3. Keep your home clean. Mosquitoes love grass and webs, so clean your home regularly to eliminate their favorite environment.
4. Laundry detergent or soapy water. You can add water, laundry detergent, or soapy water to a large basin, stir it, and place it in the room. Many mosquitoes will be attracted by the scent of the laundry detergent and fly into the basin, where they will drown.
5. Use mosquito-repellent light bulbs. These bulbs function similarly to electric mosquito swatters, physically eliminating mosquitoes without harming the cat.
6. Buy a physical mosquito trap. Physical mosquito traps can suck up mosquitoes without any chemicals, and they can also suck up flies, making them a great helper for cat owners to keep mosquitoes away.
