Normal body temperature of cats
A cat's normal body temperature is between 37.5 and 39.2 degrees Celsius, which is slightly higher than a human's normal body temperature. 
A cat's body temperature will fluctuate between 0.2 and 0.5 degrees Celsius. The fluctuations are mainly caused by factors such as the cat's emotions, illness, and external stimuli. If the cat is sick, a low-grade fever is generally below 37 degrees Celsius, in which case you can apply a hot water bottle to the cat. If the cat has a high fever, generally above 40 degrees Celsius, you can use ice packs to lower the temperature. If time permits, it is best to go directly to a veterinary hospital.
Additionally, when taking a cat's temperature, the cat may resist or struggle, resulting in a slightly higher reading. It's important to provide a calm environment and keep the cat's emotions stable before taking the measurement for a more accurate result.
