Why do spayed/neutered cats wet the bed?
Reasons why spayed/neutered cats wet the bed:
1. After being spayed or neutered, male cats will still have some hormones remaining in their bodies. This will take time to fade, so male cats may still wet the bed.
2. If the cat has not yet corrected its bad habits during its heat cycle, the owner should correct them in time, such as by putting a lure in the litter box to encourage the cat to go to the toilet.
3. Urinary tract diseases in cats can cause inappropriate urination. Due to their unique physiological structure, male cats are prone to urinary tract diseases, especially after spaying/neutering when their diet is not controlled and obesity is one of the main causes of urinary tract diseases in male cats.
4. The cat was frightened or encountered something that made it unhappy or uncomfortable. Cats are relatively sensitive animals. If there are strangers in the house, or the environment changes, or there is loud noise from construction nearby, these factors can all cause stress in cats.
5. Cats don't like litter boxes and don't want to defecate in them. Cats are generally clean animals, and if the litter box isn't clean enough, they won't want to defecate in it.
