What's causing Garfield's sneezing and runny nose after two months?
1. Stimulated by external factors
Garfield cats have short noses, making them easily irritated by foreign objects. When a cat eats food that it is allergic to, or when its nose is bothered by irritating odors, or when its nose is irritated by dust or fur in the air for a long time, it will cause Garfield cats to have runny noses.
In this situation, pet owners should provide fresh food, open windows to ventilate the room, avoid spraying anything with irritating odors, and clean the indoor environment to reduce dust.
2. The cat is sick with a cold
In daily life, Garfield cats often get sick and catch colds for various reasons. If it's just a simple cold from being chilled, Garfield cats will only have a runny nose with clear mucus. In this case, after taking measures to keep the cat warm, it will gradually recover. However, sometimes, Garfield cats have thick nasal discharge because they are infected with viruses or bacteria. In this case, simply keeping them warm is not enough. Pet owners should put the cat in a clean and hygienic place and feed it some Jiaqumiaoamine to supplement the nutrients the cat's body needs.
3. The cat has feline rhinotracheitis.
Another reason Garfield cats may have a runny nose is that they have feline rhinotracheitis. Pet owners can observe whether their Garfield cat has other symptoms besides a runny nose, such as coughing, sneezing, red eyes, increased eye discharge, conjunctivitis, poor appetite, lethargy, or fever. If any of these are present, give the cat some feline lysine supplements and take it to a veterinary hospital for a fever-reducing injection, and follow the veterinarian's instructions for appropriate treatment.
