Why is my cat licking a plastic bag?
There are several possible reasons why a cat might like plastic bags:

The second possibility is that there are food scraps in the bag, such as a bag that has contained fish, which will have a fishy smell. The cat may be hungry, and in this case, the cat should be fed promptly.
If you find a plastic bag in your cat's bag, dispose of it promptly to prevent it from becoming a bad habit. Owners also need to be careful not to let their cats eat the plastic bags, as they are unsanitary and can easily make cats sick.
