Cats should not eat lychees because the seeds are quite large and can easily choke a cat. Furthermore, if a cat swallows the seeds, they contain cyanide, a substance that can directly cause poisoning or even death in cats. Therefore, it is not recommended that cats eat lychees.



Cats should not eat fruits with large pits, such as lychees. Fruits with large pits include peaches, pears, mangoes, and lychees, because the pits are not suitable for cats. Furthermore, the pits contain the toxic substance cyanide, which can easily cause poisoning if a cat swallows them while chewing.
