Cats often struggle to resist their instinct to climb and frequently hang from the uprights, causing the ropes binding them to become damaged or loose. It is recommended to use cat trees from reputable manufacturers. This way, if the ropes are damaged, you can purchase replacement ropes from the manufacturer, and a professional can re-wrap them for you.
