The places kittens like to be touched vary from individual to individual, but generally, the following areas are their favorites:
Head and face: Many kittens enjoy having their heads and faces touched. These areas are rich in sensory nerves, and kittens often lick each other to greet each other and express affection. Gently stroking these areas can give kittens a sense of security and relaxation.

Back: A kitten's back is another area it enjoys being touched. When its owner brushes it, it usually cooperates well, finding it comfortable and promoting blood circulation. Gently stroke its back following the direction of its bones and fur; it might even arch its back to continue being petted.
Chin and belly: Some kittens also enjoy being petted on their chin and belly. For kittens that have formed a close bond with their owners, having their chin and belly gently petted can be a pleasurable experience.
