Cats can get fleas even if they don't go outside.
Fleas are common parasites that primarily feed on blood and cause nuisance to mammals, including humans and cats. They are usually hidden in the fur of pets and are difficult to spot with the naked eye. The flea life cycle consists of four stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Eggs, larvae, and pupae may be hidden in carpets, furniture, or other concealed places in the home.
Even if a cat has never been outside, it can still become infected with fleas or their eggs by humans bringing them in from outside. For example, family members may unknowingly bring fleas home through the soles of their shoes or clothing. Once inside, fleas will seek suitable hosts, and cats, due to their body temperature and dense fur, are easy targets for fleas. 
Additionally, some households may have contact with other pets or animals, which can also be a route of flea transmission. For example, if a dog is also kept in the household and frequently goes for walks, it may bring fleas home, which can then be transmitted to the cat.
Therefore, although keeping cats indoors reduces their chances of encountering fleas, there is still a risk of infection. To ensure your cat's health and comfort, it is crucial to regularly use appropriate flea prevention products and maintain a clean and hygienic home environment.
