It is generally recommended that kittens be weaned at around 40 to 60 days old. After weaning, kittens can continue to be fed pet-specific goat milk powder until they are around 60 days old.

If a kitten shows signs of decreased appetite for goat milk powder, or exhibits intolerance or diarrhea, it can be fed with kitten milk cake food for nursing mothers. However, this milk cake food needs to be ground into powder, mixed with water, and fed as a paste.
