The cat's snoring sounded like a human snoring.
Cats purring like humans is a common phenomenon, indicating that they are very relaxed and comfortable while resting. Sometimes, when their owners stroke their neck or back fur, the cat will also make a similar purring sound. Of course, some short-nosed cats, like Garfield, purr because of their unique nasal structure, making their purring louder than other cats.
A cat purrs for several reasons: First, it might be expressing contentment, excitement, or happiness. Second, cats may purr to attract their owner's attention when they want it. Additionally, it could indicate that the cat is comfortable. Third, cats sometimes purr when stretching out lazily. Finally, cats will purr in familiar surroundings because they feel safe and relaxed there.
