When a cat goes missing, it's relatively rare for it to return on its own. This is because cats are different from dogs. Currently, cats have been domesticated by humans for a relatively short time, and their dependence on humans isn't as strong as that of dogs. They also don't have a strong concept of "home," so once they leave home, they generally won't come back. Of course, we can't rule out the possibility that some cats are very intelligent and will return home on their own after leaving.
