Cats should not eat sweets. Cats are naturally insensitive to sweetness and do not have a particular preference for sugary foods. Feeding them large amounts of sweets will increase the burden on their digestive system, causing some cats to experience gastrointestinal discomfort, and in severe cases, vomiting and diarrhea. If a cat consumes too much sugar at once, it will increase the burden on its metabolism, potentially leading to kidney failure. Furthermore, excessive sugar intake in cats can easily lead to obesity and negatively impact their dental health. In addition, creamy substances can easily cause pancreatitis and fatty liver disease in cats, and chocolate can easily cause poisoning. 
Important notes on a cat's daily diet:
1. Leftover food will rot and breed bacteria, causing diarrhea. Leftovers should be refrigerated, and dishes should be washed thoroughly. Cats have short muzzles, so dishes should not be too deep.
2. Foods that make cats sick should not be given to them, such as chocolate, onions, bones, grapes, etc.
3. Unlike humans, cats secrete almost no salivary amylase. Only pancreatic amylase and brush border membrane enzymes of epithelial cells can digest carbohydrates such as starch. However, these enzymes are present in low amounts and have low activity, so they cannot digest large quantities of carbohydrates.
4. A cat's urinary system cannot tolerate too much salt, but inorganic salts are essential for life and cannot be avoided. Necessary salts are essential for a cat's life activities.
