Cats need to be vaccinated. Vaccines are a line of defense for a cat's safety. If a cat is not vaccinated, its chances of contracting viral infectious diseases will increase, which can seriously endanger its health. Feline vaccines can prevent diseases such as feline panleukopenia and feline herpesvirus (FHV-1). Feline panleukopenia poses a significant threat to a cat's life and can lead to acute death if the cat is in poor health.

The first vaccination for kittens should be given at 2 months of age. Before vaccination, the kitten must be completely healthy and should not have symptoms such as fever, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, or vomiting. After vaccination, kittens need extra care, including keeping them warm and preventing them from getting cold.
