Generally, we recommend treating cats for external parasites once a month to effectively prevent parasite infections. However, this frequency should be adjusted according to the season, the cat's living environment, and its health condition; it's not a mandatory requirement.

Generally, in summer, due to higher temperatures, parasites on cats are more active, so we recommend treating them for external parasites once a month. However, in winter, because of lower temperatures, parasite activity decreases, and external parasite treatment only needs to be done every 2-3 months. Furthermore, if a cat is already infected with external parasites, the owner needs to administer deworming medication again within safe limits.
