Cats have a unique reproductive system that uses induced ovulation, so they do not experience menstrual cycles like human women, nor do they bleed. Although cats do go into heat, they do not bleed from their vulva like dogs do. Instead, they exhibit behaviors such as being willing to be petted, accepting mating with male cats, and making soft meowing noises.

If your cat is bleeding, it could be caused by parasitic diseases, serious gynecological diseases, or other health problems. You should seek veterinary care as soon as possible if you notice any bleeding.
