Kittens typically begin to open their eyes around 8 to 15 days after birth. This process is gradual; some kittens may open their eyes only a crack around 8 days old, but not fully open them until around 14 days. However, please note that each kitten is slightly different; some may open their eyes earlier, and some later.
If your cat hasn't opened its eyes after 14 days, or if any abnormalities are observed, it's recommended to take it to a veterinary clinic as soon as possible for an examination to check for eye diseases or other problems. Also, avoid forcibly intervening while your cat is trying to open its eyes, as this could cause injury.
