Black chin in cats is actually folliculitis, mainly caused by a long-term diet high in oil or the use of plastic food bowls. When you first notice black chin in your cat, it's recommended that you wipe the affected area daily with saline solution, tea, or soapy water.

Additionally, it is recommended to first shave the hair on the affected area, wipe it with saline solution, and then apply erythromycin ointment and petroleum jelly. Take an appropriate amount and gently rub it on the blackhead area until some small black dots appear, then wipe it clean with a clean cotton towel. It is recommended to use this method about twice a week.
