There are generally four reasons why girls like to keep cats:
1. Cats have a gentle temperament. Unlike dogs, cats don't cause trouble everywhere. They are generally docile and lie quietly. Sometimes, you can be very satisfied just by holding and petting a cat, which makes them more suitable for girls.
2. Cats don't need to be walked, while dogs need to be walked every day. If dogs aren't walked, they can be destructive, noisy, and annoying. Cats don't need to be walked, making them suitable for lazy girls who don't have much time. Furthermore, girls during their periods are even less inclined to move around, so many girls choose to keep cats.
3. Cats can use the toilet on their own, unlike dogs which will urinate or defecate anywhere in the house.
4. Cats can quietly stay by their owners' side. This satisfies most girls' psychological need for companionship.
Things to note when raising a cat:
1. Cats are prone to parasite infections and need to be dewormed regularly, both internally and externally, every three months.
2. Feed your cat regularly and in measured amounts to prevent overeating. Also, provide a variety of foods to ensure a balanced intake of nutrients.
3. Cats are very sensitive to cold, especially in winter. It is necessary to take measures to keep them warm to prevent them from catching a cold.
4. Owners need to regularly clean and disinfect the cat's living environment to prevent bacteria from growing and causing the cat to get sick.
5. Cats kept indoors for extended periods may become timid, afraid of cows, and prone to depression. Owners should occasionally take their cats out for walks and exercise to promote their healthy growth.
