3. The cat may be in heat and wanting to mate. That's why its meows are prolonged. The cat is trying to attract a female to mate with. 
Here are some things to keep in mind when cats mate:
1. Preparation in advance: First, you need to fully understand the background of the other cat. If your cat is a purebred, it's best to choose a purebred cat of the same breed to ensure the purity of its bloodline. If the cats are significantly different in size, mating is not recommended because it can easily lead to dystocia (difficult birth).
2. Before breeding, pay attention to the male cat's nutrition to ensure the kittens' health.
3. Female cat's age: It's best for female cats to mate during their second or subsequent heat cycles. It's not recommended to mate them during their first heat, as their physical and psychological immaturity can lead to difficult labor or them not knowing how to care for their kittens. Also, remember to trim their nails during pregnancy and lactation. 4. Male cat's age: It's better to pair an inexperienced cat with a male cat over two years old who has breeding experience and ability. Inexperienced male cats are best paired with experienced female cats for a smoother mating process.
5. Choose a quiet, undisturbed environment. If you need to board your cat, please prepare its daily necessities. Each cat has a different level of interaction ability, so it's recommended to assess the situation based on the specific circumstances.
6. Before male and female cats go on a date, they must undergo a physical examination to check for parasites, skin diseases, infectious diseases, or genetic diseases. If any are found, the date should be postponed or the relationship should be abandoned.
