Cats don't necessarily need hairball remedy. Hairball remedy primarily helps soften hairballs in a cat's body and expel them. It's a supplement, not a necessity, especially for long-haired cats or cats that shed excessively or lick their fur. It shouldn't be used frequently. If a cat doesn't shed or lick its fur excessively, or doesn't exhibit hairball vomiting, hairball remedy may not be necessary. While hairball remedy can help cats expel hair from their intestines, it has a high oil content. Overfeeding can lead to soft stools and diarrhea, so excessive use is not recommended.
Benefits of hairball remedy for cats:
1. Regularly feeding your cat hairball remedy can lubricate its intestines and promote the rapid expulsion or vomiting of hairballs.
2. Hairball remedy contains fructooligosaccharides, which are beneficial for a cat's digestion and enhance its intestinal motility, thus promoting its healthy growth.
3. Good hairball remedies, or even "nutritional pastes," contain a variety of trace elements and other nutrients, which can not only help cats expel hairballs but also benefit their physical growth.
