The reason why a cat's nose is always dry but it is still very active:
1. When a cat is sleeping, its nose will appear drier because it doesn't lick its nose.
2. Breed-related reasons: Most cats are descended from desert breeds and do not like to drink water. When the living environment is dry, their noses will become dry. Owners only need to give the cat water.
3. If a kitten's nose is dry from kittenhood, it will likely remain a dry-nosed kitten into adulthood. As long as it shows no other symptoms, is energetic, eats well, plays well, and is affectionate, there's no need to worry about its health; a dry nose is perfectly fine in a healthy state.
4. A cat's nose is usually wet. If a cat's nose becomes dry, it may be due to severe malnutrition, vitamin deficiency, or other nutritional metabolic issues.
5. Environmental factors: If the cat's living environment is very dry, hot, or if it spends a long time in a heated or air-conditioned room, causing the cat's nose to become dry, then even if you give the cat a lot of water, it will be difficult to keep its nose moist. In this case, it is recommended that the owner keep the environment humid, or place a water bowl or humidifier indoors.
How to raise a cat:
1. In terms of diet, cats need different nutrients at different stages, so different foods should be provided. You can feed them kitten food, canned cat food, nutritional paste, etc. Make sure the water for the cat is clean.
2. It's best not to keep your cat in a cage. Let it have some space to move around. Prepare essential items in advance such as cat food, food bowl, water bowl, litter box, cat litter, cat grass or hairball remedy. You can also choose cat beds, scratching posts, treats, and toys, depending on your budget. Kittens can start getting vaccinated when they are two months old.
