The number of meals a cat should eat per day depends on its age and health condition. Kittens: Feed small, frequent meals, using kitten-specific goat milk powder and kitten food, 3-4 times a day. Adult cats: Feed 1-2 meals a day; if they have digestive issues, feed them until they are about 80% full, 3-4 times a day. Senior cats: Feed 3 meals a day at regular times and in measured amounts. Pregnant and lactating cats: Feed 5-6 small, frequent meals, ensuring a balanced diet.
Cat diet guidelines:
1. When preparing homemade food, it is necessary to ensure that the cat's food contains nutrients such as protein, fat, minerals, vitamins, and trace elements. Therefore, cooked meat and vegetables can be mixed with rice or noodles for feeding.
2. Feed your cat commercial cat food. You can choose a nutritionally balanced cat food and occasionally feed your cat canned food, meat strips, etc.
3. In daily life, you can feed your cat probiotics to regulate its gut flora, or give it a prescription gut food to boost its immunity. Occasionally, you may need to supplement your cat with vitamins and minerals.
