Instructions for use of anthelmintic drugs:
1. The general method for external parasite treatment of cats is to part the fur on the back of the cat's neck, apply the external parasite medication to the cat's skin, and then rub it in to allow the medication to penetrate the skin.
2. External parasites reproduce rapidly in summer, so cats should generally be dewormed once a month. In winter, when parasites are less common, they can be dewormed once every one or two months. Internal parasites can be dewormed once every three months.
3. Some parasites are shared by humans and cats. At home, you should regularly disinfect the area where your cat lives and the utensils it uses. Wash your hands promptly after playing with your cat to effectively prevent parasites.
Instructions for use of internal antagonists:
1. Internal deworming medication for cats is usually in the form of granules or tablets. After opening the cat's mouth, the owner can place the medication into the cat's mouth, then pinch the cat's mouth closed, gently stroke the cat's throat, and gently breathe into the cat's nose to stimulate the cat to swallow.
2. If the cat is unwilling to swallow, the owner can try wrapping the medicine in a moist and sticky food such as canned food or cat treats that the cat usually likes, and then try to induce the cat to swallow it.
3. If your cat is a picky eater, you can take it to a veterinary clinic where a professional can administer the medication using a feeding device. It's important to note that when giving your cat internal deworming medication, you must strictly adhere to the cat's weight and follow the instructions on the package insert to select the appropriate dosage. Do not administer too much medication to avoid poisoning your cat.
